3 Quick Ways to Speed Up a Slow Windows PC

3 Quick Ways to Speed Up a Slow Windows PC

  1. Free up disk space  A full hard drive can make your computer run slowly. To free up disk space, you can delete unnecessary files, such as old documents, photos, and videos. You can also uninstall programs that you don't use.
  2. Disable startup programs Startup programs are applications that start automatically when you turn on your computer. These programs can slow down your computer's startup time. To disable startup programs, open Task Manager and go to the Startup tab. Disable any programs that you don't need to start automatically.

      3.  Defragment your hard drive Over time, the files on your hard drive can become fragmented,                    which  can slow down your computer's performance. To defragment your hard drive, use the Disk               Defragmenter utility that comes with Windows.
